AIbU To be proud of my first sale as a sheep farmer

My dear dad died a month ago and left me the farm. I have 300 pedigree sheep. The place is run down and it's been nothing but bills but today was brilliant. I sold 7 sheep for a good price off the farm. Someone else came to look at our sheep a Lambing Live family. I have a shepherdess who is so on the ball and we are going to work well together. Happy days!

Count every success! Fantastic news, well done Derxa. I hope it continues for you.

That's really great, derxa. I bet your dad would have been proud.

How lovely! Congratulations.

I used to live opposite a farm run by a woman. My children persisted in referring to her as the farmer's wife when really she was the farmer and her dp was a farmer's husband.

Wishing you every success in the future. (And what sort of sheep are they? I spin so am fascinated by sheep breeds!)

They are Lleyns Countess. They look like a child's notion of a sheep if you know what I mean. White bodies and legs.
