To consider freelance?

I have got the kind of job where I could go freelance - and in the interim DH's wage could support the family.

But I can't make any inroads until I leave my job as it's a close knit industry and it wouldn't be the right thing to do.

Anyone just gone for it?

Could you not put out feelers and see if there would be any interest? You could just go for it - plenty of people do - but would you be able to have a back-up plan?
