Aibu to think that some people go into shops, try on tops and dresses and wipe ALL their make up over the neck of the top! Just been into A shop and saw a beautiful top and EVERY SINGLE GODDAMN ONE had make up all over the neckline! Bloody horrible orange foundation! Does this infuriate anyone else?

It annoys me too. I blame the love of fake tan around here.

I'd have no qualms in asking for a discount on an em of clothing if it had make up marks on it

I think it's difficult to try clothes in without them touching your face.

I think it's annoying that you couldn't find a top that wasn't stained.

La la la.

YANBU!! I used to work in a top end high street clothes shop, most of our stuff was expensive and special.
I lost count of the number of times beautiful cream lace tops and dresses were ruined by awful orange around the neck line...

Lockedbox I competely agree but it's common sense to try to avoid getting your make up and satsuma fake tan all over something Hmm

My DD is now 19, but her and her friends used to put on heavy foundation and go clothes shopping.

They couldn't avoid getting make up on what they were trying on, they'd also ruin every bit of clothing they had, as well. It was a constant battle.

I can understand shop assistants not wanting to police this though.
