Hello

I am a long time lurker, finally registered and am keen to join in!

So, my neighbour (we don't particularly get on well but that's another story) have a son (7) and a new baby (around 6-8 weeks I would guess). We live on a hill, at the top.

I came home earlier and son is out, on his own (no adult around) pushing baby up and down the top of the road. Had he let go the baby would/could have rolled down our street into a main road.

AIBU to think this is pretty poor judgment from the mum?!

Just 'mum'? Is it not dads responsibility too?

Squiff85 · 04/09/2015 19:47

Gosh! Lol. Should have seen that coming! Dad was out.

I'd say poor judgement to the point where I'd be questioning the mother's mental health. Would you be able to pop in as see how she is managing?

Mum could be asleep maybe? Might be worth a knock. YANBU but it makes me worry for the mothers mental health is she is allowing it,she could need help.
