I'm sure Private Eye will have the inside track on this. I was quite surprised though that she has got such a high profile position.

She was acquitted of all charges, was clearly good at her job and RM runs a company, not a government department, and can appoint who he likes. In my view it would have been a travesty if she had not been offered her job back after all she went through.
