Too wonder what dirt Rebekkah Brooks must have on Murdoch?

Obviously this is nothing more than conjecture on my part but BBC have just confirmed she's going back to Newscorp on Monday.

She doesn't need any dirt at all to encourage Murdoch to stick two fingers up at the establishment.

The fact RBs reinstatement may cause an ongoing drip drip of questioning of DCs judgement of character has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Nothing at all.

(On the internet, nobody can see your fingers cross).

Ha!

He sees himself in her.

And she knows how to make him feel flattered by that, not threatened.

She's his heir apparent.

WhereYouLeftIt · 02/09/2015 15:45

No dirt required. She does what he wants her to do. I would expect her return was planned all along.

"The fact RBs reinstatement may cause an ongoing drip drip of questioning of DCs judgement of character has absolutely nothing to do with it."
Very good point, LurkingHusband.

PaulAnkaTheDog · 02/09/2015 15:46

Rupert Murdoch doesn't give a flying fuck what anyone else thinks. She doesn't have anything on him, he just wants to fuck everyone off and she doesn't think she did anything wrong. Rotten to the core, the pair of them.

LurkingHusband · 02/09/2015 15:52

Rupert Murdoch doesn't have to give a flying fuck what anyone else thinks

fixed that for you Smile

PaulAnkaTheDog · 02/09/2015 15:55

Nope. He doesn't care, I wasn't questioning whether he should have to or not. No need to 'fix' my comment for me.

redshoeblueshoe · 02/09/2015 16:07

I don't understand why anyone would be surprised. I thought she'd stayed on his payroll, and he paid her legal fees.

MovingOnUpMovingOnOut · 02/09/2015 17:25

Nah she got a £16m pay off when she resigned apparently. So no need to be on the payroll when its all up front.

I wondered that. They made a scapegoat out of AC too, didn't they? Hopefully I'll never meet either RM or RB in real life.

I do wonder how many people on this thread have Sky. Hopefully none. Wink

SeamstressfromTreacleMineRoad · 02/09/2015 21:19

Well I certainly don't chica - that creature will never get a penny from me...

They're obviously revving up for the attacks on Jeremy Corbyn and the BBC... Angry

paulapompom · 02/09/2015 22:04

She could fall in a barrel of shit and come out smelling of roses. I met her a few times, and you know how someone looks like they might be horrible and blotchy but you wonder if it's just a front, and they're actuallya really lovely person? Well she wasn't. She was horrible to me and rude to my mum, and she was accused of dv against her (now ex) husband, who was very nice. Rant over.

paulapompom · 02/09/2015 22:06

Should say bitchy not blotchy (she was a bit blotchy too )

EnthusiasmDisturbed · 02/09/2015 22:09

Rupert Murdoch Tony Blair Wendi Deng gimp masks

off to steam clean brain

goddessofsmallthings · 02/09/2015 22:42

RB doesn't have any dirt on Rupert but she has shedloads of muck on others.

Shallishanti · 02/09/2015 22:44

yanbu

MARTIN1 · 03/09/2015 00:20

I'm sure Private Eye will have the inside track on this. I was quite surprised though that she has got such a high profile position.

VoyageOfDad has it. She has to be his secret love child. There is no other explanation.

ExConstance · 03/09/2015 07:27

She was acquitted of all charges, was clearly good at her job and RM runs a company, not a government department, and can appoint who he likes. In my view it would have been a travesty if she had not been offered her job back after all she went through.

Floisme · 03/09/2015 07:30

Good at her job?
Grin
Grin

Yeah so good she had no there was hacking going on in her comindea there

redshoeblueshoe · 03/09/2015 07:31

ExC what conditioner do you use on your lovely red hair ?

Floisme · 03/09/2015 07:33

Woah I was laughing so much I couldn't complete my post. Ahem

So good at her job she had no idea there were industrial amounts of illegal activity going on under her watch?

YouBastardSockBalls · 03/09/2015 07:33

He sees himself in her.

I certainly hope not if voyage is right!

derxa · 03/09/2015 08:16

I'm revolted by her but jealous at the same time. It is a very odd feeling.
