Ok. My fridge-freezer is on it's last legs. And has been for several years.

Saw a tv add for a nice replacement in the sale in currys.

Nice fridge. Nice price.

But their delivery options are diabolical. Free delivery means you pick a day. They show up that day. Fair enough.

Not much use to me, with school and nursery runs. Dd sleep time etc.

The other option is £20 and you can book a slot. A 4 hour window. Either 9-1, 11-3 or 1-5.

I can guarantee I will be out of the house for at least an hour on all of those!

Anybody know a fridge-seller with better delivery?

Try a smaller local shop, often they have a good deal and will deliver at a more specific time.

Can't you ask around to see if someone from school can help you with the school run for that day?

They will most likely give you a ring in the morning with a estimate of the time anyway.

Have you looked at ao.com. They do weekend deliveries (although I think you still have to pay for a shorter time slot)
