To do fuck all today

I have a term time only contract so I've had a lovely 6 weeks off with the dc. This is our last day off till October half term. I've spent a small fortune doing things with them and we've also had a few pyjama days.

I was going to take them to the park today and have a picnic but the weather has ruined that. If we stay in it will be a led on the sofa reading my kindle all afternoon sort of day. I'm not spending anymore money on them in an indoor place they've had enough.

I could iron my uniform, tidy up (although it's actually not that bad I've done quite a lot of sorting this holiday) batch cook and do ever so sensible jobs with my time. Instead I feel like wasting the day doing fuck all.

What would you do?

Ooh yes Lidl's Bailey's - and Yorkshire puddings with honey or jam
Whatever the situation MNers have the food and drink for it too!
What time is Bailey's O'clock do you think?
Just popping out for some stationary bits with DD so could pick up a bottle at same time. Might not be LIDL's finest though unfortunately as think we'll need to go elsewhere for school stuff?
And Rocker think you def win most justified Fuck Off Day of the thread award Grin

Baileys o'clock starts whenever you don't have to drive anywhere, I always remember karen from will and grace having it on her cornflakes instead of milk!

Good idea. I work full time and was out all day yesterday, didn't get back until late so a quiet day today. Everywhere will be busy anyway!

Cracked on. DD an I are under a blanket, she's watching peppa on the ipad whilst I'm mn'ing. DP is pottering about and we're ordering a curry for dinner. It's what wet bank holidays are made for!

Why not I still have my pj's on had a bowl of cornflakes and it's a ready meal later on with wine after a bath and pj's. I work hard so this my reward

YANBU. That's what rainy bank holidays are for. We had a wedding yesterday that took the entire day and we are pooped.
