What to wear at Acot in the flat season?

AIBU to have a MN hair cut and buy stuff from charity shop to go to ascot?
And what the plucky do I wear? Dress? Skirt? Trousers?

WhaT do you intend to do when you are at ascot? I go racing a lot, go to see the horses, have a coffee and a burger (and a bet). Loads of walking involved so I wear jeans, jumper and boots. Lots of corporate days with men in suits and women in high heels and dresses. The women usually look cold and the footwear uncomfy so if it's a dressing up kind of event bear in mind it's a long cold day, even if it's sunny! Have fun!
