..that this car blocking access is driving me nuts

We live in a house with a shared driveway. The driveway is gated and we and our neighbours all have a key. Lately, a car keeps parking in front of the gate blocking access so noone can get in or out. It is driving me NUTS, but as far as my online search goes, there isn't much that we can do about it. It's not a police matter as far as I can work out. Anyone got any suggestions of what to do? Or should I just let it go and park in the street?

Come on OP. You can't start a juicy parking thread like this then bugger off.

Did you modify the exhaust with expanding foam (early hours special!)

Did you print a note?

Anything?

DobbyTheFreeElf · 29/08/2015 15:33

Any update OP?

Twowrongsdontmakearight · 29/08/2015 16:03

I want to know too!

Blocked in and margarine on the windscreen. And a note on the passenger side of the windscreen saying Sorry to block you, just as you are blocking our drive, we'll be back in a few hours.

And keep us updated!

There ought to be an organisation called Parking Thread Addicts Anonymous.

Bump, bumpy, bump. OP?

flowerygirl · 01/09/2015 18:37

Sorry for taking so long to update!

We blocked in the van on Saturday and he turned up sharpish (of course) It was one of our neighbours opposite and he made his apologies. He's not too bright and a drunk so I'm certain he didn't do it maliciously, doubt he even saw the sign. Feel much better now, knowing he's not doing it to antagonise me/take the piss!

You are barely forgiven.

The question is whether he will do it again. Hmm
