To have a small doze

Didn't sleep well last night due to pain. I can hear dd 3 planning in her room and ds 6 and 7 in the garden. I feel guilty

I'm sorry you had a rough night but I do think 3 is too small to leave h supervised. Hope you feel better soon.

I wouldn't have a sleep with 3 young dc's up and about, bit risky in cSe of an accident.

Have a coffee and an early night tonight.

I'd put the TV on and have a sit down

I'd doze on the sofa with all 3 in front of a film, and lounge door shut. I wouldn't leave a 3 YR old in a different room and sleep.

I have a 20 month old. I just had a 40 minute nap

I got on the sofa with a blanket and pillow. Put DC's favourite programme on, few toys and books out and a drink, kept the lounge door shut, made sure there were no dangerous things to climb on, food to choke on etc and had my snooze!

I wouldn't leave them alone in another room but i don't see any issue with how i do it!

purplefizz ds would have smacked me in the nose with his sippy cup if I attempted that!

Ha ha! I had my blanket and pillows taken off me but that was about it!

How do you get away with it? My kids would have been all over me, shaking me and climbing on me if I'd as much as shut my eyes! My grand-daughter is 17m and hates it if I stretch out on the sofa or the floor. Perhaps she thinks I'm dead.

I used to work nights when ds1 was a baby up untill he was three sometimes i had to wait untill dh came home at 3.30 untill i could have a few hours sleep i just put cbeebies on and tried to nap when ds was engrossed in in the night garden or whatever!
