OK, maybe not expect...possibly more hopeful

A mail regarding the recent hack made me nostalgic and I thought I'd visit again and it all feels so different (even though I'm sure it's not really)
I even held a glimmer of hope that an IPOAT thread would be running. I remember my continuous IPOAT 'being with child' storylines being rather poignant when I became pregnant with DD2, she is 5 now

Anyhow. I've rambled on. Started a AIBU thread (though not an outrageously self centred 'come and agree with me' one alas) and will now trawl active convos like a kerb crawler for a bit.

I've recently returned and I recognise hardly anyone, I remember a Gibbon though

Loads of regulars have namechanged this week. Including me, ive been here every day for ten years (should really piss off). Bloody hack.

Funnily enough I was humming Hotel California as I was typing.

It's really quiet at the moment. I imagine a lot of people are posting less because of the whole hacking thing or are on holiday/shoe shopping etc.. Give it a week, the kids will be back in school and everyone will flock back (I hope).

Gibbon, if you were a regular you know exactly how it works. Mn bumbles along, everyone is happy. Something epic like a new topic happens and we have multitudes of threads along the lines of "you're all bitches" and "I remember when everything around here was fields" then the dust settles and everyone reverts to bumbling.

Right now we're in epic. I give it 8 weeks maximum before the fields start making an appearance

I remember seeing you about. I remember bumbling into an ipoat thread as a lurker, thinking wtaf and wandering off else where. You would recognise me as I am a serial name changer and was prior to the hack. The hack was brilliant I can now outsmart the pre-teen who thinks he knows it all about computers.

There are a lot of people with numbers in their names and many posts ending in an x...I've even seen some huns and hubbies

Lots of problems name changing and staying logged in so may be the reason it's so quiet, along with it being holiday season.
