I've been pondering this for a while. My hair is cutting a lot lately and I'm increasingly inclined to just shave it all off and start from scratch again.

I've had short hair in the past but I've never been bald so that's holding me back but I'm thinking to just go for a fuck-it cut it all off look.

My pony tail looks like a lingering fart and I don't want to rely on hair extensions and the like anymore. Has anyone thought or done something similar?

I shaved my head for similar reasons. I really like it and have kept it shaved for a year now:)

You could cut it really short and see if that does the job.

why must you shave it? why not just get it cropped?

I would caution against shaving it off completely. I have my own clippers and wear mine pretty short - number 6 on top, number 4 at the sides, but when I took it down to a number 2 all over the difference was shocking - amazing what difference even a centimetre of hair makes! You could go for a buzzcut like mind and if it looks shit, it'll be grown out in a month.

I've always wanted to do that.
But I know I would look like a potato.
