I'm sure a great many people in the public eye are married to people whose names I'm unaware of. Doesn't make me feel stupid in the least.

Yes, I think you are being unreasonable, why should you know who someone who happens to have started a website you post on is married too?

I don't watch Newsnight so don't know who you're talking about and I don't feel stupid at all.

I did know, but it's irrelevant really, isn't it? I'm glad he's moved on to Newsnight - every time MN got mentioned in the Guardian I'd be thinking "Conflict! Conflict!".

I've got one that will blow your mind. The actor who plays Harold Finch in Person of Interest is married in real life to the actress who plays his fiancee (she's also Arlene in True Blood and Elspeth Tascioni in The Good Wife).
