To not want to start every workday with an "inspirational" quote.

Every day when I login to my work emails I get greeted with "Dishpig, let's get stuff done!", "Let's change the world today Dishpig!" or similar. I don't know who has set it up, not the IT folks, they have a black sense of humour, but this kind of unrelenting mockery is not their style.

It's got to the point where I'm just mumbling 'sod off' under my breathe at my computer each morning and my colleagues in our open plan office look a little scared.

AIBU to want to just check my emails in peace and be as excited or disappointed by my day as I see fit?

But Dishpig, today is the first day of the rest of your life......

But if it's sent by email, you can see who it's from, surely? And are you the only one that gets them?

travellinglighter · 19/08/2015 11:43

But Dishpig, don’t you want to be all you can be?

You need to think outside your inbox.

If Britney can get through 2007, then you can get through reading your e-mails.

Oh don't you both start, Rose and Travelling HmmSmile.
Imperial, it's not an email as such, more of a pop-up when you access your emails...it's in the system...can't even junked which would be cathartic.
