To be irritated by DH huffing and puffing and rolling round the floor

He sometimes has back twinges after doing DIY or gardening which, of course, is not nice for him. I'm not completely heartless: I am sympathetic, having had back problems myself, and I make soothing noises etc, but he has taken to rolling round the living room floor doing stretching exercises every evening, right in front of the TV. He makes all these really exaggerated huffing and puffing noises while he does them. Fine if it helps, but what's wrong with doing them somewhere else, somewhere you don't have to step over him to get to the kitchen. We have enougn space in the rest of the house.

I just want to sit quietly after a day's work. is that too much to hope for?

That's interesting, chicken That could do the trick.

Ketchup I read that command in a Supernanny voice. Might work, though sometimes I need his help to get off the bed when I do my back in. I don't want him to get all sulky about it.
