PFB or what? eBay related.

I bought a Moby wrap sling on ebay, "rarely used, excellent condition, from smoke and pet free home".

Arrived this morning, threw it straight in the washing machine. when I was hanging it on the line I noticed that its faded and there is a small hole. NOT excellent condition but not a deal breaker.

when I was checking the drying progress I noticed it's covered COVERED in cat hairs. I've used 8 sheets on my lint roller to get them off and the next load of white washing through the machine is covered in cat hair too.

I've emailed the seller to give her the right to reply before I leave feedback, but I'm really annoyed. am I being PFB or AIBU?

I don't know if I should use it or not. Honestly why type "pet free home" if it's not - I'm of the opinion if you can't say anything good, say nothing at all!!

seller doesn't accept returns

I sold a baby item on eBay once, it was practically new had used it twice and was in perfect condition, thinking I was doing the right thing, I washed it then posted it. The buyer contacted me and said it had a hole in at the seam (must have been from the washing machine) so that could have been a genuine error.

The cat hair is grim, they must have been able to see that. Would hovering it off work, then wash again?

you have protection through ebay, do a report thing to them they should refund you

I don't think it's pfb, it is clean now but I absolutely despise cat hair and it would make me feel dirty.

It says pet-free home, if covered with hairs that's totally NAD. As well as the hole, deffo open NADB case.

Complain.

Definitely start a dispute, you will get your money back and she can't, as the seller, give you negative feed back so don't worry about that.
