To ask my family not to get ds1 a birthday card..

..because they never get ds2 one?

Dc's birthdays are only a few weeks apart. I moved close to my aunties and cousins a couple of years ago and since then they've got ds1 a birthday card with money in but always forget ds2.

I know it's not meant maliciously, but wibu to ask them not to bother this year as ds2 will start to notice soon?

I think it's more important to tell them to not forget ds2! I understand forgetting birthdays as I'm not great myself so could you remind them about a week in advice that his birthday is coming up. Why do they remember ds1s?

I don't know why tbh. Before I moved we'd never really bothered with birthday cards, we don't see much of each other despite living nearby so I wouldn't usually speak to them between ds1 and ds2's birthdays to say anything. (I always text to thank them obviously)
