to wonder how popular Jeremy Corbyn really is?

I really like a lot of his policies and I think he is a breath of fresh air but I wonder if he is really as popular as the press makes out?

Would you vote for him in 2020? If you didn't vote Labour in the GE would you consider voting for them if Corbyn is elected leader?

PS. Before the usual suspects ask, no, not a journalist, just asking out of curiosity.

In order to be in government, the Labour Party needs to win back Scotland AND win a lot of seats back from the Conservatives. Given that the marginal seats in England did not want Labour and the SNP working together, how on earth can JC improve on this position? Labour will not win an election with JC even if some Labour Party supporters think he walks on water. We are heading for a one party state. There is no point being a political party if you do not set yourself up to win an election. JC does not want any military action so no armed forces, wants to reopen coal mines (?) and nationalise everything in sight. The Tory voters in the marginals will not vote for this: definitely won't pay for it! Labour MPs won't stand for this: they won't serve with him. Labour will be annihilated! Voting for JC is a turkey voting for Christmas scenario.

Sorry but you are anti-Jewish if you are friends with people who call Jews (not Israelis) "bacteria" and peddle stories about Jews (not Israelis) using the blood of non-Jews to make their bread. If you think that is acceptable that makes you a racist in the same way that someone saying that all black people are rapists or all black people are monkeys is racist. I don't understand how anyone can think that calling a group of people "bacteria" is not racist? If an Israeli Jewish politician called Arabs "bacteria", he would be a racist and I would hope any potential MP would not associate with such a person. Why are there such double standards when it is Jews in the firing line?

Just to emphasise, he (Corbyn's friend Raed Salah) said this about Jews NOT Israelis because a lot of people don't seem to understand the difference.

In quite a few seats enough Labour voters went for UKIP to turn the result away from Labour. Not Tory voters.

Ditto SNP in Scotland.

It's going to be interesting.
