AIBU?

To think that photos of children with food all over their faces are NOT cute?

Yet another child on FB with dried food stuck all over it's face. It's actually only parents think their kids look cute like this and quite frankly the novelty wears off pretty quickly.

Please stop doing it makes me feel sick.

I'm really surprised by this.

I didn't post any myself, but I think pics of kids covered in anything (non biohazardous) is pretty cute... chocolate, paint, mud etc.

To me it just looks like a kid who's probably just had a really good time. Grin

I'm surprised by this too. My DP posted one of DS on FB yesterday with food all over his face. We're weaning so he probably thought it was funny. I'll tell him not to bother if half of MN thinks it's disgusting. I'll post a picture of me bfing instead.

Get a life people. There are bigger fish to fry.

Yes there are bigger fish to fry but this was the particular piscine being lightly sautéed in this particular thread.

I am more disgusted by the harsh comments on this thread than I am by cute mucky toddler faces!

Jesus Christ, they're kids FFS. They do silly things that make us laugh, they are uninhibited by social norms, they lack coordination. It is a picture of cuteness and innocence, not a picture of filth or bad parenting. How hard is it to just scroll past something you don't like? I don't think I've posted any messy food pics recently but pretty sure I did post some weaning ones about a year ago which got tonnes of likes!
