Miffed that somebody has taken my mnn?

I know first world problems and all that but it doesn't feel right that there is another Regina out there for all but one letter. Then to be lied to about how long they have had it (thank you AS).

Totally prepared for lots of YABU get over it sad lass type posts. It's just that I like my nn and now I will have to change it.

3 Flipping months! When it's a name drop a TV show from about 20 years ago, that you haven't even spelt correctly. Nor have you correctly capitalised the surname.

I genuinely never even look at people's usernames. Unless they say something dickish or I recognise their posting style.

Why would you give a shit about this? Come up with an original name if you want to be unique (and then just get over it because there are a lot of people on here).

I know Aye I have BU on so many counts. My use of an already taken name, my innocent misspelling of said stolen name ( I never realised) and starting this thread when I didn't have a leg to stand on.

I have been so unreasonable I may use that as my next name.....obviously checking for other similar user names and ensuring I spell it correctly first.

I get where you are coming from OP but I do think 3 months is not really long enough to establish a name for yourself.

I was on a thread once where someone claimed they had the name MikeCrapBag and had been that longer than me. It was the one and only time I had seen it and made no sense as he didn't actually call himself that. A little while ago I noticed a crapbags in chat. That was kind of annoying. I have been CrapBag for bloody ages now. Sticking an s on the end is just too similar.

Tbf it's hasn't been that bad and the only comments that really stung were the spelling ones. I genuinely didn't realise and spell checker is my life saver so I blame that.
