Is this thread rude?

There's nothing wrong with calling someone goady when they are actually being a goady cunt. I mean it's not like goady is a made up word, it is an actual thing that some twats on here seem to relish.

usualsuspect333 · 07/08/2015 22:09

It's lulz.

It's easy to start a thread on MN for the lulz

its summer unusual, not necessary.

ginslinger · 07/08/2015 22:11

Cunting, rude, entitled controlling cunt of a thread.

And how is everyone?

ComposHatComesBack · 07/08/2015 22:11

They can't just say "I'm a lawyer/biologist/accountant" - they have to say "I'm a lawyer/biologist/accountant (Russell Group University degree)

Which is shorthand for 'I failed the interview at Oxford/Cambridge, but I'm still really, really clever, yeah?' Russell Group is a self selecting clique of research-based universities which means nothing if you studied there as an undergraduate.

My pet hate was a phase about two years ago when some of the more dull-witted posters on here would respond to any criticism by parroting 'did you mean to be so rude?' Which isn't quite the witty rejoinder they imagined it to be as it invites the answer 'yes, I did.'

Mehitabel6 · 07/08/2015 22:11

I am annoyingly obtuse tonight, changed to deliberately obtuse followed by 'it is like explaining to a child' but then stated that actually her 10 yr old could grasp it.
And this is supposed to persuade me to her point of view! Hmm

WorraLiberty · 07/08/2015 22:13

I'll hold everyone's coats for a quid.

SilverNightFairy · 07/08/2015 22:14

Dixie, Ima ready to throw down. BUT, I am a one loo, 5 people home so I respect the bleach.

thornrose · 07/08/2015 22:14

I cringe at "did you mean to be so rude?" Blush imagine saying it in real life!

HoneyDragon · 07/08/2015 22:14

This is all our faults as Mnetters, we cannot blame just a few.

We're all a terrible example on each other. Eventually we'll spiral into a black hole of torrid righteousness which will then implode and spew out a new universe where we emerge glistening and scaley from a naice primordial soup (organic natch) and stand with proud upright and hoicked bosoms, in the newborn sun and the landscape will be Cath Kitsonesque and giant chickens will free range across the land that can feed entire tribes for a week.

usualsuspect333 · 07/08/2015 22:15

I'm not scared off Crusty [vodka talking]

I feel like I am sat in a really rough pub here. Can we go to the nice wine bar next door? We can have Tapas to share or something.
