I read a lovely quote

'Advice is judginess wrapped up in kindness'

Salmotrutta · 07/08/2015 21:50

Is narcissist the New Term for a selfish bastard?

How about "Toxic" - particularly ILs (MILs)

usualsuspect333 · 07/08/2015 21:51

Oh god yes, MILs are always toxic.

Grin X-post with Worra!

Sparklingbrook · 07/08/2015 21:52

Usually trying to get a reaction from people for your own enjoyment without bringing anything to the table yourself Egyptian. Then when called on it acting all innocent.

usualsuspect333 · 07/08/2015 21:53

I like to read the toxic posts while singing Britney Spears.

Sparkling, I know due to being called it Grin early on and have to damn well stay another 50 million more messages than I want to. It gets messy and I end up wanting to punch their lights out. Cheeky fuckers.

Anyway....

All types of "paths" its all here Grin

My all time favourites are...

"you didnt answer my question"
"what have you based your statistics on"

I didnt want to answer your question
What fucking statistics

OTheHugeManatee · 07/08/2015 21:55

The MN word that really bugs me is 'vile'.

I wonder how many people realise it originates in an Old French word meaning 'low-born' and as such is like calling someone a chav, just in Elizabethan English Grin

IsItMeOrIsItHotInHere · 07/08/2015 21:57

Oh God yes, how could I forget? Toxic and narcissistic are WAAY up there. I'm going to have to bump something from my chart. Grin

Salmotrutta · 07/08/2015 21:57

On a slight tangent...

The number of people on here who mention they went to a Russell Group university is awe-inspiring.

They can't just say "I'm a lawyer/biologist/accountant" - they have to say "I'm a lawyer/biologist/accountant (Russell Group University degree)" as if anyone in real life actually cares.

Goady is a definite thing , it's not a difference of opinion or playing devils advocate.
