Then you tell the person you are supposed to be meeting.
A friend keeps doing this to me, I turn up and wait then call them, they don't answer and then they text saying that something came up and their not coming.
There not a real friend are they?

I wouldn't bother making any more and with this person.

AboutTimeIChangedMyNameAgain · 06/08/2015 21:02

No. Why is their time more important than yours?

DDDDDORA · 06/08/2015 21:43

Thanks, I don't really have friends and have been trying so hard to make some but I think I'd rather not have any than be treated like this.

Surely thats kinda a two stikes and you're out kind of offense?

paulapompom · 06/08/2015 23:13

No, it's rude and mean, you will find proper friends x

DDDDDORA · 07/08/2015 08:27

Whois your absolutely right, I was trying to build a friendship as we do have a lot in common but the reality is she just wants someone to look after her kids and meet up with when no one else is available.
Lesson learnt.

OP don't know where you are located but if you go on mumsnet local there are often people wanting to chat and make new friends, I am going to do this when I get round to it (it's not that I'm too shy, honest ) x
