There were many eyewitness reports of a low flying jet from people seperated in the Maldives and they ignored them as their tech calculations said it wasn't possible. Now it looks like they were all right a d had they started searching there things might have been different.

btw new reports of a plane window pane being found (Malaysian official is claiming this - as well as seat cushions/covers apparently) sound a bit dubious as a window pane is unlikely to float (very solid and heavy)

I think the only reason op flounced is because of all the posters pointing out the gaping holes in her/his unresearched theory.

If it was a troll thread it's a very unsatisfactory one since almost all posters seem to be agreeing with each other.

That was the first window related item - discounted now as a probable sewing machine part.

Today one of the Malaysian officials said that they have found window panes and seat cushions and some aluminium foil. It's apparently all been sent off for testing without being photographed by the press.
