to think the mayo in a jar is different from the mayo in squeezy tubes?

It's just different isn't it? The squeezy stuff is nice and creamy and looks tasty. The the stuff in a jar just sits there looking at you, like it knows it's going to be a disappointment.

DH disagrees, but I am pregnant so he is getting squeezy mayo just for me.
He think's I'm picky, AIBU to want delicious creamy mayo on my chips instead of the imposter that is jar mayo?

Mayo has to be full fat Hellmans from a glass jar". The squeezy stuff is ok but so much is wasted at the bottom of the bottle.

Have to admit to also loving Heinz salad cream. Cheese on toast with a thick layer of salad cream between the bread and the cheese is heavenly.

jar mayo looks like mayo jelly, all wobbly and fake.
As an Eastern European, I use only mayo from a brand Francis, which is Latvian, its natural, liquid and AWESOME.
Hellman's is horrendous ( no offence to hellmans fans)

but in the battle between jarand squeezy bottle....SQUEEZY BOTTLE ALL THE WAY

I'm a Hellmann's fan as I said before, (in the glass jar always!) but I would love to make my own, have never had homemade, I'm sure that would be even better as most homemade things are.

Jars are definitely yacky. Squeezy is actually quite nice.
