We have 3 dc's under 5. We eat most days at 5pm. Nice to eat with the family around the table but it always leaves me peckish by about 8pm. I'm on mat leave so that's why I'm able to eat at this time.

Kids tea 5pm
Adults dinner 8pm-10pm
Sometimes if DH is away I eat with them at 5pm

IHaveBrilloHair · 03/08/2015 19:45

Somewhere between 6 and 8, DD is 13, I'm a single parent.

lastqueenofscotland · 03/08/2015 19:47

8-10 depending. I don't eat lunch till 1ish wouldn't want food at 5!

Cocolepew · 03/08/2015 19:47

Dinner at 5, I hate eating later.

FirstWeTakeManhattan · 03/08/2015 19:48

Children's dinner around 5.30 - 6.00 p.m.
Our dinner around 9.30 - 10.00 p.m.

We eat all meals as a family at the weekends, holidays, days off etc.

GoooRooo · 03/08/2015 19:48

If we're eating with DS then 5.30. On nursery days he has a snack instead (he gets far too much food at nursery and then is never hungry at home!) and we eat after he goes to bed. Usually around 7.30 although we're running a bit late tonight!

Artandco · 03/08/2015 19:51

7.30-8pm, children both 5 and under. Same since children born

Poosnu · 03/08/2015 19:53

5.30 with the children (4 and 2), then a snack later after they are in bed if still hungry.

LuluJakey1 · 03/08/2015 19:54

About 7, half-7pm

DS has his earlier (he is 8 months)

It's tea.

Dinner is at dinner time - about 1pm. Grin I am from Northunmberland, DH is from Yorkshire.

TremoloGreen · 03/08/2015 19:56

My two-year old has tea at 5.30ish, I sit with her and may have a slice f toast. DH and I eat supper between 8-9 most nights. I physically can't eat a proper meal much before 7, I feel like I've just had lunch!

mumtoaninja · 03/08/2015 19:56

We have dinner at 6ish...sometimes altogether, sometimes just me and the kids

museumum · 03/08/2015 19:57

6pm if eating with ds.
7:30 otherwise.
Our week is a mix of all eating at 6, and one of us eating with ds at 6, and ds eating alone at 6.

TremoloGreen · 03/08/2015 19:57

In fact, I'm just making supper now at DH's request but thinking meh, I'm not hungry at all Grin

vvviola · 03/08/2015 19:57

DH eats dinner with the DC around 6pm, I eat later when I get in from work.

At the weekend we all eat around 6pm together.

chekovatemycherry · 03/08/2015 19:57

6ish as a general rule. "dinner"

allithwaite · 03/08/2015 20:01

Between 6-7 with kids always have eaten together.

Totality22 · 03/08/2015 20:01

Toddler eats between 5-6pm and we eat at 7/7.30pm.

Totality22 · 03/08/2015 20:02

I tend to have a cuppa while toddler eats so we sit at table together.

Judydreamsofhorses · 03/08/2015 20:03

No kids here, and we eat between 7 - 8 during the week, later at weekends.

PurpleSwift · 03/08/2015 20:06

Between 5-6

cardibach · 03/08/2015 20:06

DD is 19 now, but was much the same when she was younger as I work full time. Evening meal between 7 and 8 ish depending on commitments the day. Later sometimes.

ForalltheSaints · 03/08/2015 20:07

About 630pm.

It's tea in our household. The meal in the middle of the day is lunch.

NeedSpeed · 03/08/2015 20:08

7pm

roofio87 · 03/08/2015 20:10

We all eat together at 6 30. my 22 month old is good at waiting a little bit and that's not too early for us. I think it's so important to all eat together.

NurNochKurzDieWeltRetten · 03/08/2015 20:12

6pm - dinner - whole family together unless one kid is at football, in which case he eats when he gets dropped home.

DH starts work at 7.30pm to be home for dinner. I work some evenings and have to leave at 6.30pm so it really has to be 6pm.

Breakfast at 6.30am
Brotzeit (kids only) 9.30am
Lunch (me and the kids) 1.15pm ish
Dinner 6pm - only one with whole family, almost always cooked main meal.

Weekends and holidays may vary...
