camping.

We want to go for about 3-5 days next week. One DD, two dogs and DP.

Needs to be in the south (because we are). I can't decide where to go. We went to a lovely camp site about an hour away not so long ago and part of me thinks just go back there but we only went for 2 nights, would maybe want a bit more to do.

would like to be near the sea i think, pretty rural and not to overcrowded

Try Chilley Farm, Pevensey. They do fairly basic camping (no showers) but it is rural, right in the middle of the marshes, but just 10 mins drive to the beach at Pevensey (pebbles), close to Hurstmonceux castle & science centre (which is amazing).

I think it's £10 a night per tent & they allow fires

I can only find them via Trip Advisor reviews for the tea room (& they do an amazing breakfast):

Their phone number is: 01323 768836

I have nothing to do with them, but I do buy what little meat we eat from them.

Certainly not overcrowded at all.

West Wittering - superb campsites, lovely beaches and one beach adjacent that's ok for dogs. Love it there.

Burnbake campsite, in the Purbecks in Dorset, near to Corfe Castle. Beautiful area, great campsite. Even got a rave review in the Guardian, so it has to be naice. www.burnbake.com
