you're mad to put this on at this early stage!

roll back to your previous operating system with system restore and don't touch windows 10 for a year.

it might be on touch screen mode, I saw the option for that in the setup menu last night. No idea if you could use keyboard shortcuts to get into the menu to turn it off though

I updated to Windows 10 on Wednesday, after four hours of sitting at the 'Welcome back' screen and where pressing next resulted in my PC rebooting I gave up and reinstalled Windows 7.

My gaming forum is full of people having problems so Im going to wait before trying again.

goinggrey1978 · 31/07/2015 11:04

Ok will I need a mouse to get cursor control, as I will have to go to the shop to get one??

No idea if buying a mouse would work, I would try to restore with keyboard shortcuts first. Press the windows key then use your arrow buttons and enter to navigate to the menus that you need.

goinggrey1978 · 31/07/2015 11:09

I'm technically minded at all so need all the help I can get please!!
Windows 10 seemed to install with no problems it was only later that I realised Kaspersky hadn't done it's usual scan after addinga anything that I realised Kaspersky had disappeared so added Kaspersky disc to re-install it, which it did and then asked to be re-startedthat this problem occurred!! Unfortunately I have no idea how to fix it!!

Oh, the tab key will help you jumping around menus too.

LazyLouLou · 31/07/2015 11:10

Don't do anything. Mine disappeared for about half an hour. Came back when I did the magic trick - turned it off and on again Smile

goinggrey1978 · 31/07/2015 11:11

Used laptop click and track pad to control before, keys won't work either, tried home key nothing, tried F2 and F11 but still nothing

goinggrey1978 · 31/07/2015 11:13

I've turned it on and off lots of times and no different, even removed battery to see if that would work again nothing

Basic troubleshooting -- you need to check for the hardware like mouse, usb ports, etc. If the mouse is too old, it might be incompatible with Windows 10 though you updated the driver. There are another 5 solutions to remove this bug, you could check for the details from www.drivethelife.com/windows-10/how-to-fix-no-mouse-pointer-problem-for-windows-10.html
Hope you could get rid of this headache soon.

I should hope so it was a year ago! Grin
