Patient Identifiable Information

If I'm being precious about this please tell me! Had a hospital appointment this afternoon - on the consultants desk, right next to me, was a list of his afternoon appointments, including full names, D.O.B's, contact numbers & details of why they were seeing him, i.e. ailments. Obviously my details were on there. Presume he knew the list was there - he couldn't miss it. I work in the NHS & have to do training re patient identifiable info, so presume he must do too - would IBU to speak to someone at the hospital & let them know this Dr is leaving stuff lying around?

Report it. That's breaching the data protection act.

My midwife did this three years ago. I saw all of the people in my village who were pregnant.

Yes, report it.

Yes report it, but why did you not say something to the dr at the time? Confused
