They put food out for the seagulls!! My car, patio and anything outside I getting covered in bird PPP! And it's not just little drops! They are HUGE!

So WIBU to ask them to stop?

Yes tell them to stop. It's horrible and why seagulls? They hardly look under nourished some of them are as big as cats and their PPP can take paint off cars. We had a neighbour put bread out for birds and we became the local rat drive through.

In most areas now OP it is illegal to feed Seagulls because they're causing such a nuisance.

There were a few stories just lately of people needing hospital treatment because they were attacked by seagulls for no reason.

One poor family lost they're little dog because of Seagulls,the seagulls went into they're garden and pecked the dog so badly it had to be put to sleep.That story was also in the papers.

I'd get intouch with who ever your local council is,they won't be pleased and they will deal with your neighbors for you.

How on earth do I approach this with them? I can hardly just shout over the hedge "oy stop putting waste food out for the flying shit monsters!!"

I think it varies from area to area. Many areas will fine for feeding seagulls as there are considered vermin. Check with your council.
