When the time is right... we will take over... as the supreme power of the universe!!!!

Say in a Dalek accent.

DH is watching 30 year old Doctor Who on Sky+.

AIBU to exterminate the remote control?

Only if it's Sylvester Macoy

dougieroseagain · 29/07/2015 22:23

It's classic Tom Baker and Sarah Jane.

I've never actually seen Doctor Who so I have no idea whether YABU or not.

Salmotrutta · 29/07/2015 22:49

No, classic would be Patrick Troughton or William Hartnell.

Back in the days when I was the one hiding behind the sofa.

ghostyslovesheep · 29/07/2015 22:51

Tom Baker is my Doctor - with a little bit of Pertwee that I can just remember

cariadlet · 29/07/2015 22:51

Don't be ridiculous. Classic is obviously John Pertwee.

dougieroseagain · 29/07/2015 22:54

It was only until Christopher Ecclestone that the bad acting stopped.

Mine too, Ghosty. Grin

And Sylvester McCoy is lovely. I met him at a comic con. He's only little.

emwithme · 29/07/2015 23:12

Ooooh which story?

I love classic Doctor Who. I do not like Cybermen though, they're right scary...

dougieroseagain · 29/07/2015 23:20

Erm... some Daleks have landed on Earth and the Army are trying to stop them. Tom Baker is helping them.

Other than that, I can't help you Confused

The Horror Channel was showing The Horror of Fang Rock earlier tonight. But I don't think that's the one OP means. Fang Rock does have Tom Baker, but with a sinister lighthouse and no Daleks.

I think the Horror channel should get more old Doctor Who episodes though. Fang Rock must have been round half a dozen times or so since they started showing old Doctor Who, and there's loads of stories they haven't shown.

madamginger · 29/07/2015 23:31

The BBC lost a lot of the old series film reels so some episodes are lost forever:(

dougieroseagain · 29/07/2015 23:39

God, don't tell the BBC haters that, madamginger - they'll use that as an excuse not to pay the licence fee!

And on that note, I am going to retire. Into my Tardis. With David Tennant.

"Oooh, halloo!"

nocoolnamesleft · 29/07/2015 23:53

Oooh, Tom Baker was my doctor. Though I admit that, more recently, David Tennant made a verrrrrrrrrrry nice doctor.

MakeItRain · 29/07/2015 23:57

I'm the John Pertwee/Tom Baker generation too Grin Can't beat a bit of Tom Baker/Dalek excitement!

SideOrderofChips · 30/07/2015 00:19

Christopher Eccelston was my Doctor....mmmmnn

SmartAlecMetalGit · 30/07/2015 00:33

Tom Baker is THE Doctor as far as I'm concerned, I luffs him far more than is reasonable

Fatmomma99 · 30/07/2015 00:38

Naughty, dougieroseagai, very naughty.

Tardis Tardis Tardis

Ooh, I learned a new emoticon on here. Yay.
Ohh, yeah, the old Dr Who is shite. I love love love the pair of Matt Smith and David Tennant though. I was drooling smiling through the 50 years episode. Smile
