BlueBananas · 29/07/2015 20:56

Confused why would you tell them off??

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 29/07/2015 20:56

Nope.

KissMyFatArse · 29/07/2015 20:57

No I wouldn't be offended at all

StarlingMurmuration · 29/07/2015 20:57

One of my cousins called her mum a "black stub" when she was about four, with great feeling. I think my aunt was too busy trying not to laugh to tell her off. To this day, none of us know what a black stub is.

LottieDoubtie · 29/07/2015 20:57

Er? no..

EsmetheWitch · 29/07/2015 20:57

YWBU.
My 3 year old calls me a 'silly nugget' which I think is very funny. She's annoyed at me and she expresses it in a harmless enough way.

although I suspect she's mispronouncing fucker Blush

Flisspaps · 29/07/2015 20:57

Was it said with great indignation, folded arms and a 'humph' to finish?!Grin

Theycallmemellowjello · 29/07/2015 20:58

Hee! No I wouldn't tell off, it's cute.

ArabellaRockerfella · 29/07/2015 20:58

Ha ha, you wait 'til they start calling you a poo poo head! Shock

KindergartenKop · 29/07/2015 20:58

It's more the way it's said. If he knew the word twat then he would be substituting bobble for twat. It's maybe a bit disrespectful.

OP posts:
Psycobabble · 29/07/2015 20:59

Unless bobble has some alternative meaning that I don't know of

Then yes you are b u to tell them off Confused

LibrariesGaveUsPower · 29/07/2015 20:59

Awwwwww

BitchPeas · 29/07/2015 20:59

I wouldn't tell them off. It would make me laugh.

YWBVU to tell a wee 3 year old for that!

I'm adopting it as my new favourite phrase. Grin

BitchPeas · 29/07/2015 21:00

Sorry x post. So it was the tone/way he said it? What had happened leading up to it?

RuddyHellItsSoftCell · 29/07/2015 21:00

Your 3 year old or someone else's?

I wouldn't mind dd saying it to me or her dad but I wouldn't be that happy about her saying it to another adult. Having said that I wouldn't be keen on said adult telling her off for it, that's my job.

usualsuspect333 · 29/07/2015 21:01

I would laugh.

Wolfiefan · 29/07/2015 21:01

Mispronunciation of bollocks?
Grin

KindergartenKop · 29/07/2015 21:02

It's not said affectionately! More in anger/frustration that mummy isn't giving him what he wants or doing what he wants.

OP posts:
GallopingFoxley · 29/07/2015 21:02

My 8 year old keeps calling me a 'worthless worm' and a 'mouldy old measle'

Yes he's been watching Horrid Henry Angry

I just laugh

Elisheva · 29/07/2015 21:03

Were you being a silly bobble?

KindergartenKop · 29/07/2015 21:06

It's my 3 yr old. If I allow him to call me and dh a silly bobble then he will say it to everyone. He called a little girl it in the park today. I might teach him the word cunt or twat instead, wthat bu?

OP posts:
GallopingFoxley · 29/07/2015 21:07

Oh just unclench and laugh it off. Talk about over thinking!

Cynara · 29/07/2015 21:07

Grin at Elisheva. That's a very pertinent question.
