I have been away in wales this week, I was freezing and used a hot water bottle all week- dh thought I was being ridiculous but I disagreed!

I've had a hot water bottle for the past 3 nights and I've refilled it a couple of times as I've been so cold!
In my defence in in Scotland and I've got some horrible bug.

I NEVER EVER feel cold thanks to my age but even I've felt cold these last few days and cold and damp today, had lights on all afternoon and fire on!!! Brrrr July?!!!

Living in Ireland it seems to be common as the damp is just miserable if there isn't a bit of heat. Dcs have had hot bottles all summer!
