To this question: What is the most insufferable kids tv show of ALL TIME?

Me and dh both 90's kids, we were watching old clips on youtube last night of shows we watched as young kids (playdays, tots tv, fireman Sam, thomas the tank engine etc. ) and we began to think that some of them are extremely annoying as adults. We also watched a few from popular kids shows today.

In the run up for me has to be peppa pig and doc mstuffins...

Loads of classics have been bastardised by cgi... Fireman Sam and postman pat, thomas the tank engine and Paddington bear, it just looks so cheap...

Another vote for Grandpa in my Pocket and Waybuloo. Can't bear either of them.

Will never forget my 18 month old grandson saying he didn't like in the night garden, saying it was too predictable, I nearly dropped my tea in shock. I hadn't a clue what he meant.
So it transpired neither did he. His mum said he'd just overheard them saying it.

We watched teletubbies endlessly and balamory. Theses days it's peppy pig and Dora.

On account of Dora my five year old speaks with an american accent.
Saying...oh nanur..for nana etc

What about The Furchester Hotel. Aaargh!

Muddle - not Carrie and Dave. They can sing. My ds are 13 and 15 if that helps. Many programmes mentioned here are after their time.

Yes and balamory, even preschool dd was confused by the fact none of the adults could accomplish simple tasks without consulting their dim friends, and why they didn't ever get changed

Aarrgghh when they sing I could smash the fucking house up.

Anything with Justin/Mr Tumble.... which is nearly EVERYTHING as he's a voice artist for every bloomin kids show ever.
