In asking if any of you buy Uniglow

Saw a photo of a nice pair of trousers in a magazine so went to the website. Uniglow. Found some other nice clothes at reasonable cost . .

AIBU to ask if those of you (if any) who have bought anything are happy with the clothing?

Do you mean Uniqlo?

I've had one top as a gift & yes it was lovely, washed well & I like it :)

TongueBiter · 16/07/2015 18:17

Uniqlo? Yeah - head over to Style and Beauty and check posts there.

Ohwhatfuckeryisthis · 16/07/2015 18:17

Uniqlo? Yes buy quite a bit-good t shirts esp.

DonkeyOaty · 16/07/2015 18:18

Is it a lookie-likie Uniqlo? Never heard of Uniglow sorry.

JamHoneyMarmite · 16/07/2015 18:20

Um, if "uniqlo" then yes, I've bought from there and quality has been fine (leggings, tops, hoodie, children's dress). My Finland-based friends also swear by their thermals, and I would guess they test them thoroughly!

EggOnTheFloor · 16/07/2015 18:22

Their clothes wash really well, but some bus can be quite pricey. Worth it though:

RachelRagged · 16/07/2015 18:23

Sorry , Yes its the one you all said. lol

Don't usually browse magazines least of all fashion but had a little windfall so going to treat myself.

Thank You TongueBiter, , I shall head over now Smile

God I wish MN had an edit button!

RachelRagged · 16/07/2015 18:27

Wonderful JamHoneyMarmite .. if Finnish folk swear by them I can see myself ordering some thermals for winter.

Uniqlo is great. The thermal stuff is called Heattech and we all wear it in our house.

60sname · 16/07/2015 19:42

I have some of the long sleeved Heattech tops and they've lasted me for years without losing their shape.

atonofwashing · 16/07/2015 20:04

YANBU at all. I have a padded body warmer from them. I love it. I like the fact that it is not covered in a label.

Agree re thermal stuff. It's very good.

accessorizequeen · 16/07/2015 20:15

The merino cardies are excellent and great value.very thin but 100% wool so warm and great for layering.

RachelRagged · 16/07/2015 20:21

Thanks

Would the S size be a 10 ? Would need that for bottom half , ,tops are a 12 so I imagine a M ?

dexter73 · 16/07/2015 21:15

I am a 12 and I get a M. For jeans I get 28 or 29.

RachelRagged · 17/07/2015 07:54

Thank You Dexter .

Japanese, not Finnish :p

I like Uniqlo and wish there was a shop near me. So unfair that there are 10 shops in and around London and none elsewhere in the country. I always look there if I am in London, which is only once every couple of years or so and have ordered mail order.

I have their long down coat, which is excellent and a load of their heattech stuff, a couple of blouses and some short sleeved merino cardigans, which are perfect for the office in summer but they seemed to have stopped selling. I wish they would sell them again in a range of colours, if they did I would probably buy several.

I am a 12/14 and usually get medium in tops, except the heattech, which I need large. I haven't dared try on the skinny jeans as a curvy sized 12/14 I dread to think what size I'd need, but having said that, the sizing seems quite generous, especially considering is a Japanese brand and you'd expect it to be tiny.
