I'm in love with the lovely Mr Jake Gyllenhaal. I can't shake it. I may have joined this Facebook fan page (cos I'm really sad......and older than most of the other members). I may have also clocked up a good few hours on YouTube and Google images.

Does anyone else do this, indulge me!

Awww, look at you lot fancying real people.

I have an insurmountable crush on a character from a book. He doesn't exist. I know he doesn't. But I love him. Grin

So, just when you're thinking you've got a problem, remember, you could be me.

Boris Becker. At an impressionable age I may have cut out newspaper cuttings about him. I still adore him. Sexy.

Gruntfuttock · 12/07/2015 13:24

Well SaulGood, technically, mine doesn't exist, since he's dead, but yes, you're probably slightly.....er....., more unusual, than the rest of us. Grin

BonnieBlueButler · 12/07/2015 13:31

Happens to me all the time. Tom Hardy and...Neymar at the moment!

BoyFromTheBigBadCity · 12/07/2015 14:50

Aidan Turner. For years. Long before Poldark or the Hobbit.

Also JG and Ryan Gosling. But AT is always top.

PistolAnnie · 12/07/2015 14:52

Chris Pratt for me. I love him.

DH caught me Pinterest-ing him the other night and laughed himself stupid whilst I tried to style it out by pretending I was only interested because he's in Jurassic World and I thought DS2 might like to look at the pins

Sternin · 12/07/2015 15:07

SaulGood, I get crushes on video game characters. It could be worst. Wink

AndDeepBreath · 12/07/2015 15:12

Ah, Pinterest, that great enabler

ipswichwitch · 12/07/2015 15:14

I'm coming out the other side of a serious crush on Thorin (The Hobbit). Not the actor though. Just the character.

velocityofbeans · 12/07/2015 15:17

Vincent D'onofrio. I have had a crush on him since I saw him in Law & Order Criminal Intent. I may have tracked down his more obscure films, I may have joined a fb group or 2 I may even have joined his personal fb and twitter pages...it's been going on for ages and is only now starting to abate a little. Thankfully DP finds it all vaguely amusing and doesn't judge me too harshly Blush

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 12/07/2015 15:23

I will save all of you all of your embarrassment by sharing with you that my crush is..............

Harry Styles.

Blush Blush

I'm 45 years old FFS.

Allofaflumble · 12/07/2015 15:33

Velocity did you see Mr Wonderful.? Oh my lord, Vincent was absolutely swoonworthy in that as Dominic.

Could never understand how she could have rejected him for the neanderthal husband - Matt Dillon (though he is good looking). Great film.

Snowballschanceinhell · 12/07/2015 15:33

Ryan Adams is my current one. He's recently (Feb) split up from his wife (Mandy Moore??!!!!) and I started following him on Instagram. It now appears he's nobbing the girl who's supporting him on tour judging by some pictures he posted of her. I felt the most insane, overwhelming surge of jealousy, I genuinely shocked myself!!!

WyrdByrd · 12/07/2015 15:36

Richard Armitage was mine, for a loooong time. Actually got to meet him very briefly last year and it really was something of a non-event (albeit a big fat tick on the bucket list Grin).

Still think he seems like a nice bloke and love his acting so follow him from that perspective and just have the occasional wibble these days.

As for Jake Gyllenhall being gay - my money's on 'no', based on the fact that he doesn't float my boat and virtually every celebrity and quite a few real life blokes that I ever fancy turn out to bat for the other team Confused. I can pretty much guarantee if JG was gay, even not obviously, I'd fancy him!

ForFlipSakes · 12/07/2015 15:57

I can't believe I'm going to admit this. ...

He just seems so nice (after my extensive research) I really, really, really just want to be his wife
(Runs away)

velocityofbeans · 12/07/2015 15:58

Allofaflumble i have seen it once or twice, the singing scene at the wedding is a particular favourite of mine Grin

ahfuckit · 12/07/2015 16:12

Mark Strong. Phwoar.

Neonladybird1970 · 12/07/2015 16:13

Justin thanks ... My ancient iPhone won't support the new version of twitter which is probably a good thing :) I agree JO is sadly missed but they were still amazing.

londonrach · 12/07/2015 16:19

Paul rudd. Hes been mine since clueless. Jonathon combie was my first love and i was very upset by his recent passing.

HiawathaDidntBotherTooMuch · 12/07/2015 16:19

Mine is Huw Edwards, the journalist who reads the 10 o clock news. He is old enough to be my father. I have loved him for years Smile

BitterChocolate · 12/07/2015 16:31

I was going to agree with HappyHippyChick about the Hawaii Five-0 guy, but it turns out she is crushing on the WRONG one. Grin I find myself thinking all sorts of inappropriate things about this one, especially when he is looking serious or annoyed (which is most of the time).

steppedonlego · 12/07/2015 16:31

Misha Collins, who plays castiel in supernatural. I went to a convention purely to meet him and he gave me a big squeeze hug whilst wearing a very soft jumper Blush

Theresaflyinmyhouse · 12/07/2015 16:38

Op, there's a podcast called the mystery show and there's an episode about jake. It made me love him a bit too.

MetallicBeige · 12/07/2015 16:43

Shaun Evans, right back to his Teachers days. Love a scouser.

Yy Aidan Turner when he was John Mitchell in Being Human, perfect!
