I'm in love with the lovely Mr Jake Gyllenhaal. I can't shake it. I may have joined this Facebook fan page (cos I'm really sad......and older than most of the other members). I may have also clocked up a good few hours on YouTube and Google images.

Does anyone else do this, indulge me!

haha!! textfan! Riker's ok but Kirk's way sexier by far!!! (maybe it's the facial hair that is a turn off, not a fan) :-)

Captain Kirk has that special something ;-)

I'm stuck in Tokyo the next couple hours and thought I'd throw in my 2 cents. Most of mine have been listed. In no particular order:

Viggo Mortensen - I used to live in Joshua Tree and never saw him when he'd visit. I think I could cope with the poetry& painting.

Channing Tatum - because he always comes across as so damn fun.

David Tennant - DH is well aware of this one and is wise enough to recognize there's nothing he can do about it. DS & I have gone through the entire How to Train Your Dragon audio books and we're moving to freakin' Chitty Chitty Bang Bang next.
Damn you Mr. Tennant! And his audio books really are fantastic. I can't imagine keeping all of the voices straight. And he is my Doctor Who. Converse & all.

Joe Manganiello - Oh. My. Goodness. Him in the reading glasses in Magic Mike XXL.

Taylor Kitsch! Me too! Battleship is my guilty pleasure. Partly because my dad served on the North Carolina during WWII but mostly because of Mr. Kitsch.

Also a big yes to Richard Armitage. I watched North & South for the first time 2 weeks ago. It caused me serious PAIN when it ended. So much so I watched Michael Fassbender in Jane Eyre. Again. Because I love a good gothic romance. Thank heavens for Netflix.

I really need to go pry the iPad away from DS now. Just as soon as I'm done with my sad little fantasies. Mostly involving being unlaced from a corset. Slowly. By any of the above.

Nowt wrong with fancying Stanley Tucci! He's hot. Fortitude was a double whammy, because the character he was playing was also sexy. Clever and understated but took no shit from anyone. I was seriously annoyed when he was killed off. Fortitude really lost its shit at the end there.

Has anyone mentioned Zachary Quinto? I had a major crush on him when he was Sylar in Heroes. Yes, he was evil and did terrible things to peoples' heads. But in a a HOT way. Never saw him in the Star Trek film as Spock, couldn't bear to see him disfigured by a godawful fringe

SweetDreamsAndFlyingMachines · 16/07/2015 09:03

waves to hopefulpuffin - a fellow Kitsch-er (I may have made that up!)

JoffreyBaratheon · 16/07/2015 09:29

The best way to end a crush on Stanley Tucci is to watch The Lovely Bones. He is seriously creepy.

I have long suspected Peter Jackson's other half has the same taste in men as I do - as they have cast Viggo, Richard Armitage, Aidan Turner and that ginger bloke from Eastenders, who dropped out of The Hobbit to do Pacific Rim.

stolemyusername · 16/07/2015 09:31

I have had a few, Nick Berry when I was much younger, followed by David Duchovny (who still looks pretty good, but the sex addiction put me off). More recently Tim Curry (but only in RHS) and always, always Alan Rickman

EeekEeekEeekEeek · 16/07/2015 09:37

Eurgh Joffrey, did he play the neighbour? I haven't seen the film. Read the book though. That's a few traumatising hours of my life I'll never get back.

stole, I had a teenage thing for Mr Duchovny when he was in X Files. It was his eyes. Beautiful. Him and Gillian together: something for everyone Wink

CheerfulYank · 16/07/2015 10:06

Stanley Tucci couldn't even bear to watch himself in the Lovely Bones if that tells you anything!

I do the crush thing. It gets so intense!

I was so in love with Wentworth Miller. I was genuinely crushed when I realized he was gay. Like I needed one more obstacle in my quest to have a wild night of raging passion with him!

Then it was Finn from Glee. So sad, he died so young. I was over the crush by then but it's still tragic of course.

Norman Reedus was pretty bad. It's still lingering a bit but his penchant for dating women are young enough to be his daughter has put me off. If Daryl and Carol hook up on the Walking Dead I will like him again, maybe. I was actually going to meet him, had tickets and everything! He canceled though. :( Just as well, I'm sure I would have made an idiot of myself!

CheerfulYank · 16/07/2015 10:07

My one constant is Christopher Meloni but only as Detective Stabler. :)

SophiePendragon · 16/07/2015 10:14

Oh dear.

My celebrity crushes are many, though I don't tend to do much about them.

Ciaran Hinds
Tom Baker
David Tennant
Brett Anderson (well when he was young!)
and the beautiful, gorgeous Nick Cave but I feel bad saying that today, it doesn't seem appropriate.
Thinking of him and his family. Star

SophiePendragon · 16/07/2015 10:16

I'm also a bit too fond of Sofie Grabol Blush and that guy she shags. Borscht or whatever his name was. Ugly but grrrrr.

hopefulpuffin · 16/07/2015 10:24

Yes, SweetDreams (on phone so can't get the rest of your nameWink). A Kitscherite.

I loved him in FNL but I couldn't sit
through John Carter. That was monumentally awful. Have you seen The Grand Seduction was a nice easy movie. Except for the crazy jazz thing. That was weird.

AbbyCadabra · 16/07/2015 10:46

Joffrey beat me too it, Stanley Tucci was so horrible in The Lovely Bones I can never fancy him again.

Now then, Christopher Meloni. Hot in L&O, absolutely scorching in Oz.

namechangeforphotos · 16/07/2015 10:48

Yessss! none of you have claimed Guy Martin, so obvs he's all mine Grin

I want to be his wife, and for him to tell me interesting mechanical things while we are in bed together Blush. I will leave my native county and go and live in the cold Northern parts and he will teach me to ride a motorbike. I will bake him pies and wash his very dirty clothes while he is hard at work all day.

BlushBlushBlush

And omg I am done having children, but have you seen a picture of him as a baby? I think he would make the prettiest babies ever, should he decide he wants one in the future!

SweetDreamsAndFlyingMachines · 16/07/2015 11:26

hopeful I haven't seen John Carter - I've been put off it a bit by the horrible reviews - but I loved The Grand Seduction! The jazz scene was v funny, especially the pained expressions of the other guy! And The Bang Bang Club is really good (if you ignore the slightly dodgy South African accents?!). But he will always be Riggins first and foremost Smile

MrsFring · 16/07/2015 12:08

Oi! Sophie! Grubby mitts off Brett Anderson or I'll set my husband on you.

JoffreyBaratheon · 16/07/2015 12:31

How about the younger Tom Berenger? Sad he messed around with his face in later life and ruined his absolute beauty but in a couple of films back there, 'Platoon' and 'Betrayed' (late 1980s) he was just stunning to look at.

RiverTam · 16/07/2015 12:40

Young Brett Anderson was delicious. I saw Sude live about 5 times in their heyday.

I have to agree with Joffrey - I think Peter Jackson or Fran Walsh or Phillipa Boyens knew exactly what they were doing when they cast all these hot guys in their movies, particularly in The Hobbit, they practically fetishise Thorin and Thranduil, and there's a reason why neither Thorin nor Kili are smothered in preposterous dwarven beards.

MitzyLeFrouf · 16/07/2015 12:42

Brett Anderson has hardly changed a bit. Richard Oakes on the other hand...........

SophiePendragon · 16/07/2015 13:38

Aww sorry. Blush yes he was really beautiful wasn't he.

I was quite surprised to find myself in the DVD of their Brixton gig from 1993...I was in the front row and he got down and touched my hand. Then after it he asked me to share a cab but I was going to Victoria and he was going to Notting Hill so I said no. How stupid was I. he already had his girlfriend with him and I was a bit scared

fancyanotherfez · 16/07/2015 13:49

I have celebrity couple crushes! I think it might be a consequence of being in a LTR with children. Never again will I have that carefree falling in love feeling and spending all our money going to lovely places and snogging in the street! I love seeing young pretty couples in the throes of romance. I get unreasonably upset at their inevitable split I can't quite bring myself to acknowledge the Richard Madden/Jenna Coleman split!

Snoozebox · 16/07/2015 14:02

Brett Anderson. Fawhawhaw. Yes.

I was watching Aeon Flux (yes, I know) last night and Marton Csokas' voice was awesome. I made it through to the end of the film just because of that!
