So Iain wanted benefit claimants only given pre paid benefit cards to be spent on certain things and not things like alcohol or cigarettes etc and he said they spent benefit money on the wrong things.

He also claimed he could live easily on jobseekers £53 a week and then claimed £39 expenses for a breakfast and now his MP expenses card was suspended!

It is unbelievable what they are getting away with.

Yes there are others on the list who are also at fault but this man is so smug at cutting benefits and claiming people are living the life of Riley and he is using expenses for all sorts.

No wonder he can live off £53 a week jobseekers if he is claiming for everyday living expenses and getting a wage

And are you going to demand the same for the shadow treasurer Rachel Reeves who had four times as much on hers?

I think its only to be expected - what is that saying about power corrupting? Very true in this case I think.

I already said the other MPs who had done the same are at fault as well aermingers , he is in a position of power and spouting things like people on benefits can't be trusted to spend money and he does this . He is a hypocrite
