Help Please - Insect Bites

I am posting here for traffic.

I went away camping at the weekend. I had a great, nice chilled out time with the husband and 2 dogs.

However - I have come home with 72+ bites. I counted them last night before getting in the bath.

I am using hydrocortisone cream, I am using savlon. I am taking loratadine.

NOTHING is working.

Please give me some of your wonder cures.

I am going later this summer and have been advised to start taking vitamin B1 and to use Deet whilst I am there. But is there anything else I can do - apart from staying at home and never visiting the countryside again!

Raw I was speaking to a paramedic at the weekend. He recommended zantac funnily enough and I'd forgotten until you mentioned it again. Thank you.

Off to order the avon stuff too. I've also been told that and completely forgot about it.

I'll echo leedy on the skin so soft - works wonders for midges and doesn't irritate skin like deet based products. You can buy on ebay as well as from avon. We keep a backup supply!

I know, this has reminded me that I need to stock up on it too!
