AIBU to steal your slow cooker inspiration?

If you had a large chicken, a slow cooker, an onion, carrots, salad and tomatoes what would you come up with? I can't think of anything summery in this hot weather...

Roast chicken salad? I love cooking a whole chicken in the slow cooker, so juicy!

With the ingredients I can't think of anything else I'm afraid! My slow cooker recipes are pretty limited to curries, roast chicken, chicken and herbs.

Do you have any spices? Garlic or ginger?

I'd go Moroccan type way, so stick chicken in with the carrots onions , a clove.of garlic, chickpeas , tin of tomatoes. Add in some cumin, coriander, garam masala tiny dash of chilli. Serve with cous cous salad.
Failing that, just cook it in some lemon juice or summat and serve with a hearty salad.

Yes; lots of spices and general cupboard ingredients! I like the idea of something lemony maybe as a salad. Or maybe warm salad with bacon bits or something... Hmmm will require another trip to shop as no lemon or bacon! Or Moroccan stuff!

I'd put the chook in the slow cooker and make a nice gravy with the juices, and have rice and salad.
