to think you should turn up if you say you're coming over at 9.45am on a Sunday?

I would rather not have had to set my alarm for 9.30 this morning (no, I don't have DC). And I've now been waiting an hour. I know as soon as I get in the shower they'll turn up. So I've wasted an hour, and I have lots to do today!

Do I just stop waiting?

Bloody rude.

Stop waiting and do your own thing. So rude of them!

sweetgrape · 28/06/2015 10:46

Who's coming?

Totality22 · 28/06/2015 10:46

Ring / text for an ETA and if they don't reply within 15 minutes send another text and tell them you have gone out.

homewoes · 28/06/2015 10:46

I should have said they're just picking something up, hence not needing to shower and dress before!

Is it something they have bought from you?

homewoes · 28/06/2015 11:03

Money for a job they did for me

Given up waiting now

Tell them you're going over to them with the money at 6.30 a.m. tomorrow. And turn up at 7.

TheReluctantCountess · 28/06/2015 11:33

Maybe something has happened to them.

If not, they are either forgetful or plain rude.

Trills · 28/06/2015 11:37

Very annoying.

YANBU

I make a point NOT to visit people on a Sunday . . I guess it goes back to childhood when it was more of a everybody indoors with family kind of thing . I am going back to the 70s .

Unless something awful has happened then it is rude , and not on
