AIBU? Just been woken up by my husband scratching his bollocks. The sound of his nails rasping his foreskin so vigorously that it shakes the bed are apparently normal.

I'm pregnant and having trouble sleeping but this has been going on for much longer, I'm just filled with THE RAGE at the moment so not prepared to put up with rubbish like this.

They must be made of steel.

YABU. He's probably Suoerman.

Silvercatowner · 27/06/2015 02:38

Are you absolutely sure he is just scratching? Scratching is not generally vigorous enough to cause a bed to shake.

PaulineGrigio · 27/06/2015 02:39

Yep. Scratching not wanking.

Get him up the clinic if hes scratching that vigorously!!! Wink

CloserToFiftyThanTwenty · 27/06/2015 03:07

And if his foreskin is by his balls...

MrsTerryPratchett · 27/06/2015 03:33

You poor thing (mainly because if his foreskin is that close to his balls it's a miracle you're pregnant).

PaulineGrigio · 27/06/2015 06:46

Ok. I should have said scrotum not foreskin...

Are the scrotum police the same as the vulva police on here? Grin

We need a diagram of your DH''s balls I think. (Not) Grin

CardinalRed · 27/06/2015 07:01

Is there any change you are a little bit on edge at the moment?
or does your DH have actual balls of steel?

Sconejamcream · 27/06/2015 07:11

Eurghhhhhh!

shattered77 · 27/06/2015 07:50

My h always does this in his sleep, and was completely unaware. Until I made him very aware. EVERY SODDING TIME!! How can it be so loud? How can it go on for so long?

Pontouf · 27/06/2015 08:00

My DH does this too. Definitely grounds for divorce. LTB.

Andrewofgg · 27/06/2015 08:16

Or get him circumcised?

Idefix · 27/06/2015 09:00

Bed shaking would drive me potty op, thick sports socks need to be applied to dh hands before sleep. Won't stop bed shaking but will reduce the sound effects Grin

On a serious note if he does it a lot he could end up with lichen simplex.

marcopront · 27/06/2015 09:05

It is amazing how loud and bed shaking scratching can be. I co sleep with DD, aged 8, and she has very dry skin. It is better now but she could wake me up scratching.
