Aibu to expect that in 2015 media outlets would report on women's sport too? some examples include;
The women's world cup is on atm, hardly any coverage of it in the brief sports update you get on the national news, unless England has played a match then they may have a small blurb, this would never happen during the men's world cup

I just received my local newspaper through the door and they have a Wimbledon spread, includes the list of men's seeding but not the women's! how hard would it be to include the women's list? !

If I had daughters I'd love to watch them play sport. Or any friends. Or relatives come to that. But I can't get much enthusiasm for the national woman's football team, and find the men's tennis matches more entertaining.

Having said that, I think there is a huge growth market in womens sport and it has come on a long way in recent years. The women's football matches are televised, for example, when they wouldn't have been in the past.

I have 2 young footballer players here - one of which hopes to captain England when she's older - we have watched most of the World Cup - they have been disappointed by the wider coverage

the sports thrive within themselves....and are growing. more female entries into London Marathon than any other year this year. I guess I tend to think we don't need to be on tv or in the media like the men do!
