To be worried about having no pregnancy symptoms when I was so sick with previous 2?

It's very early days and I'm trying not to worry.

Last two times I was sick as soon as I found out I was pregnant. I actually was so ill the last time I swore that is never go through pregnancy again.

This pregnancy was a real shock and it took me a while to get my head around it.

I'm only 7 weeks now but am really pleased to be expecting dc3. I have no symptoms at all apart form a positive pregnancy test. I've read that this isn't a good thing when previous pregnancies have had severe sickness.

Has anyone been really sick in one pregnancy and nothing at all in the other?

I was completely sick as a dog with number 1, literally sick everyday of my pregnancy. I'm now 15w with #2 and apart from a little tiredness I have no symptoms and all ok at my scan! I'm waiting for it all to kick in!

Yes, horrendous pregnancy with DS1 and virtually nothing with DS2. Both fit and healthy children. Your midwife can reassure you?

I haven't even made an appointment to see the doctor as I just feel that something is going to go wrong.

I feel really guilty because of my reaction initially to the pregnancy. I took MAP and still got pregnant.

Horrendous sickness with DC 1 and 2, much milder on no. 3. But the worry was worse couldn't relax as convinced was going to lose it, but he's nearly nine now. First two were girls number 3 was a boy doubt it has much to do with it but a friend had very similar.

I've only been pregnant once but I had virtually zero symptoms. The whole pregnancy was totally fine and DD is perfect(ly bonkers).

It was the same for most of the women in my NCT group too. Hardly any symptoms, healthy pregnancies and babies.

You'll get a load of anecdotal evidence here which isn't v helpful... Loads of women who had no symptoms and babies were fine, women who had symptoms and weren't fine.

Sometimes feeling something is wrong is just anxiety, other times it's your body trying to tell you something.

Either way, try to relax as one thing is for sure: worrying about it won't make a jot of difference.

In contrast, I had hyperemesis second pg, felt dreadful, MC at 15 weeks and continued to feel very sick and 'pregnant' for months after.

This time feels like a breeze, next to no sickness, now 12w and seen a little heartbeat, fingers crossed.

I would try not to assign much meaning to felling 'different', unless it feels 'bad', then call your midwife. Every woman and each of their pregnancies are different, OP.

Also, it may sound harsh, but I personally took great comfort in the fact that worrying/wishing/hoping won't change any outcomes. All the best.

I had hyperemesis with my first two but absolutely nothing with number three. My first two were boys and the third a girl. I thought I must be fine with girls but unfortunately not I was sick every day of my pregnancy with dd2.
