At these people who insist on blindly stepping out into traffic in a busy city centre, while staring at a phone/ipod screen, with fucking headphones in?!? It takes 10 sodding seconds to LOOK THE FUCK UP and check it's clear. Scares the poo out of me every time. Gets my blood up when they get annoyed at almost being run over....

This sort of thing freaked the crap out of me for a long while. My anxiety also meant that I wasn't just worrying about the "accident" but also how I would afford to pay the excess and how I would ever get behind the wheel again. I was getting nervous of driving in some areas.

And then I decided that if some self important fucktard walked out into the road without checking and hit my car because they missed something which was literally on top of them then I would sue them.

Suddenly I felt a lot better.

I don't know how possible it actually is but I know that as a pedestrian they are expected to "obey" certain rules and guidelines for entering the road and if their headphone wearing mobile obsessed ass is too distracted to check for me then fuck you is all I have to say.

Now I want a dash cam.

Siobhan I saw something similar last year on Euston Road. Woman engrossed in her phone whilst wearing headphones walked in front of a bus. It was going fast enough that she smashed the windscreen with her head. She was not in a good way and the poor bus driver was almost beside himself. Absolutely nothing he could do.

A few colleagues over the years have killed pedestrians.
