He broke his leg 2 songs into a gig in Sweden, got treated and then came back on stage to finish the concert.
Am very excited that I'm seeing them next week.

Haha, you got me - No I haven't Grin but it was a nasty fracture that could well have damaged nerves, tendons and blood supply.

You were lucky you only needed paracetamol, it would be reasonable to assume that his fracture needed surgery and significant pain relief.

Still no official word....should I assume it's going ahead on Friday? On a side note, does anyone know what time the gig normally finishes? Still trying to decide if I should fork out £30 for parking, or to risk public transport. I'll need to get back to the other side of London....

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 16/06/2015 07:04

We are getting the tube back. Usually well organised but sooooi busy

operaha · 16/06/2015 07:09

QueenFuri · 16/06/2015 07:50

backwardpossom · 16/06/2015 09:53

YANBU. Absolute legend. Going to Edinburgh next week for the gig. Praying it goes ahead!

AtAt · 16/06/2015 21:56

backwardpossom · 16/06/2015 22:10

I'm gutted. Sad

DMCWelshCakes · 16/06/2015 22:27

Arse arse arse. Bollocks bollocks bollocks.

And bum.

AtAt · 16/06/2015 22:35

Indeed DMC. Wembley are announcing on Friday about refunds. I want Wembley to reschedule rather than automatically refunding. ..

TwoLeftSocks · 16/06/2015 22:39

Yep, legend.

Zzzsnatcher · 16/06/2015 22:39

Pulled out of Glasto too

Lidlfix · 16/06/2015 22:48

Noooo Sad Was DH and I's Xmas pressie to ourselves. But he is a legend nonetheless.

ratspeaker · 16/06/2015 23:08

We were having a family outing to Murrayfield. I bought Dd tickets as a suprise at Xmas. She did the same for me.
So surplus tickets were going to be used by rest of family.
Gutted its cancelled ut fully understand especially as Dave Grohl has required surgery on the leg.

If only he had learnt to fly

frankie001 · 17/06/2015 00:04

Very disappointed but can't be helped. Poor Dave.

Sad my as always over the top 17 year old rang me in hysterics last night - I'm gutted. Was Xmas present to her and my son. Really don't want a refund, just another show. We're not too far from London, must be absolutely gutting of you've got a room booked etc. We're still going to go in to the city with ds and do something nice join all the "mourners" on Wembley way with a guitar
MerdeAlor · 17/06/2015 12:35

Florence and the Machine confirmed to replace them for Glastonbury.

So many disappointed fans, it's such a shame but the right decision.

PseudoBadger · 17/06/2015 12:38

Florence is no stranger to falling jumping off a stage...

Spadequeen · 17/06/2015 15:01

I don't want a refund, I want it rescheduled!

HellBoundNothingFound · 17/06/2015 15:57

Absolutely gutted but know Grohl will be feeling even more gutted for having to cancel!

We live just outside of London, but really feel for my friends who had booked rooms and now trying to get refunds. Hoping for a rescheduled date instead of refund!

AtAt · 19/06/2015 18:17

Should be at Wembley now with a pint in hand....
Wembley are only offering refunds, so really hope I get tickets if they do reschedule in the future.
