To not know what to do about this wart?

I've had a wart on my finger for 5+ years. I've tried freezing it, topical wart killers, etc. With no luck. People keep recommending duct tape but I'm allergic to adhesive so that's not going to work. Help me!

Yes it was really unpleasant but frankly I was so sick of it.

It got bigger and bigger despite regular filing, and the application of dozens of expensive over the counter "remedies" over the years.

Finally this worked - 4 years on I am still wart free.

we have used wartner pen very successfully, hurt like hell, and was wierd that it killed the flesh round the wart which came off intact then the flesh healed.

Wartner and all other otc stuff did nothing for me I'm afraid.

My Nan taught us to lick our finger first thing in the morning (when your mouth is really yukky) and rub it on the wart every day. It really works! Gross but it does the job Grin

I had a big one on my knuckle for years. The doctor cut it off at the minor surgeries clinic. I barely even have a scar.

Apple cider vinegar. It bloody stinks tho and you need to apply it regularly and put clean plaster on it. Took mine away!

Salactol. It's like Bazuka but a lot stronger. Apply, leave to come off naturally, reapply. Don't file, pick or poke as it will get sore.

I have (occasionally) verrucas that won't go. My worst one was 12 years before I discovered Salactol.

My DGm always said dampen the head of a match and rub that on. Probably less hygienic than some other suggestions!
