I agree it is very sad that any 17 year old undergoes cosmetic surgery when there is no actual reason (not sure if that is the right wording - I have a friend whose son has Treachers Syndrome who has undergone many "cosmetic" operations related to his condition but which have a medical need) and whose parents appear to have consented to this. Every operation carries a risk.

Yes, Kylie has been exposed to a lot of attention as a direct result of the TV show. But she has also made an active decision to engage with the media by virtue of her modelling, interviews, fashion blogs, endless selfies etc.

I wonder if they see these procedures as the next step up from make up its so normal in their lives that they dont even think about it it is seeping in to the real world i saw our dentist was offering teeth whitening for teenagers with a discount (its prom time )

You could have a very good point there. Which possibly makes it even more sad that the whole family appears to define people by how they look.

After she left Robert K, the first four children split their time between their parents. kourtney lived with her father from when she was about 15.

I always quite liked Paris Hilton - I thought she was quite self aware and her sort of pitch was 'I am what i am, a mega wealthy heiress with very little talent', it was all quite tongue in cheek, but it seemed that her family was fairly stable and under it all she was quite normal.

I remember a surname issue, but it was just before Kim married Chriss Humphries (?) and she wanted to become Kim Humphries and Kris basically said no.

And I always remember the episode with the DNA test for Khloe, who is balatantly not Robert Kardashian's daughter. Funnily enough in the end, Khloe decided that 'it didn't matter' and didn't take part in a test, which told everyone what they needed to know.

I do sort of think it is unfair to speculate about it but by the same token, she looks nothing like her Kardashian "full" siblings.

I would usually say that commenting on someone's paternity is out of order but the Kardashians made a storyline out of Khloe's for their show. They made it gossip. They made it 'fair game'. Up until that point in the show I saw very little online chatter about who was her father. You can't question your paternity on TV, when you are a reality TV star (your career is your personal life) and then expect privacy. It's pretty obvious Khloe isn't Robert Kardashian's biological child but he obviously loved her. He was her dad.

OJ Simpson seems to be the one that is mentioned most by the media in relation to Khloe's parentage.
