To think that Kris Jenner is wrong to let a 17 year old get extensive plastic surgery.

Kylie Jenner looks like a different person from a year ago. They believe she had a chin implant, nose job, cheek implants, lips and bum implants.

Aibu to think the mum is a bad parent for letting kylie get so much work done.

YANBU. I don't follow the kardashians or jenners and tbh I don't know who these people are. But we should be encouraging our children to embrace who they are and love themselves. Sad really.

Oh yes I think the blonde only lasted a week! It's more the stark contrast of cute, bubbly, pretty approachable woman who looks happy to someone who looks like she is fully focused on hoping she looks good enough for that photo. Her face looks devoid of emotion or humanity in that shot. I hate to blast anyone for their looks but she just seems sad and not 'real' now.

I know this family are annoying but please let's try and get some facts straight. It was the ex boyfriend that leaked the tape not the mother according to all the Hoo ha at the time and the mother rushed to get an injunction to prevent the sales of the video. Wether she was successful or not I can't remember.

Kris Jenner didn't suggest everyone becomes a Kardashian, she said she wanted to revert back to being Kris Kardashian because everyone already thought of her as such and it will fit with her famous daughters. Equally crass and tasteless but just slightly redeems her.

Well yes. Her daughters first gave a good tongue lashing for suggesting the name change and told her it was disgraceful and insulting to Bruce. The kids told Bruce who was understandably very hurt especially when she repeated it again to him. Daft woman!

I remember them all sobbing when the tape was leaked and Kris saying if only Kim's father had been alive he'd have sorted it all out. I think she got a lawyer but can't remember what happened but think the sales still went ahead.

I don't watch much TV but do follow the show to wind down, it's all so trivial and shallow and beautiful! It's a pleasure to watch with a pack of biscuits.
What drew me to it was the friendship and camaraderie between the sisters, I truly love how they've all got each others back and fight and makeup because I don't get on with my siblings, it's a bit of escapism into how sisters could be.

Sadly, all that surgery has turned 17 year old Kylie into someone who looks at least 35. Several years ago there was a storyline about how Bruce objected to the amount of makeup she was wearing, thinking it was inappropriate and made her look too old. He was shouted down.

The show has been trying to "spin" Kylie for a couple of seasons -about her fashion blogs, her style etc. I'm sure it is difficult for her, having to watch Kendall be so successful in her modelling career.

The whole family is obsessed with physical appearance, and seems to view surgery as the norm. I feel for Rob, who has weight issues, and of course eh isn't an attractive female that Kris can market like the girls.

AS for Kris stating everyone thinks she is Kris Karsashian - bullshit. Nobody had heard of her when she was KK. She became famous as Kris Jenner. Her company is called Jenner Communications. She just wants a tighter connection to the cash cow that is Kim.

I totally agree about Kylie. She looks like a worn out and tired 35 yr old. I don't get all the people saying she looks 'beautiful' but guess this is what happens when you are surrounded by 'yes men'. Years older than Kendall her sister who is 2 yrs older than her. Gone is the fresh faced cute teen who modelled with her sister.

The sisters keep going on about how Kylie is the best with makeup Shock her makeup is dire.

When I first started watching they were all stunning, but now only khourtney looks normal. Poor Rob has disappeared.

Me too, Mrs Jayy. He doesn't seem to have found any purpose in life and seems very sad.
Kylie was allowed to grow up very quickly - the whole business of getting the tutor was because Kris was booking engagements for her and Kendall, so they were missing school and neither parent was aware of how they were falling behind. Sad Teens want to push boundaries, but most also like routine and security of a parent who puts rules in place for their well-being, even if they protest about them!

TBH I can see Kylie falling into depression like Rob because she is trying to compete with her sisters rather than trying to find her own path in life. Being so concerned with self-image that you undergo unnecessary surgery at 17 is worrying.

My other observance has been Kim's bum seems completely disproportionate now. I know she is well endowed and she has put on weight, but.......is that all hers now? And Khloe's too seems to be gyrating to a different tune these days.

The first show I watched, had Kris trying to get Kim to pose for playboy magazine and Kim begging her that she didn't think it was right in view of her recently leaked video, I watched in horror as the mum forced her to do it and pose tastefully whatever that is. Kim was rather stiff and nervous then gradually got into. The mother said she was doing it to counter image the video had portrayed of her Hmm good Lord!

Kris had Rob in the US show "dancing with the stars". He got a lot farther than Kim did when she entered!

she also ensured there were loads of shots of him in shorts etc on their holiday show in Bali.

He was slim and toned in both.

Did you know Rob graduated form UCLA with a grade point average of 4 point something, if I recall correctly. But has never worked with it, he is actually more of an academician, but it seems everyone is expected to tow the modelling/fashion line and if you don't, you're out.

Kourtney got Rob a job after he graduated, but he wasn't prepared to start at the bottom and work his way up..
Not sure he has ever shown any indication of being an academian (although don't really know what you mean by that?) on the show - he's more concerned about "hanging" with his mates, or previously Lamar, going out or playing video games. To date all that he's really done with his life is his sock collection, which TBH relies on his name, not on any talent as a designer.
Rob's a young man who had every advantage in life. He appears to suffer from some serious MH issues and I hope he can find a way forward, out of the public eye.

Surely the level of scrutiny that this girl is under has some part to play, so anyone who takes enough interest in these people to identify what work they think they have had done is part of the problem too. I have only the vaguest idea who they are, but I don't think it's possible to follow in their fortunes and criticise them for 'looking old', 'having too much work done' or 'having put on weight' without being complicit in the industry that has encouraged their lack of self esteem.

I think we can all agree it's incredibly sad for a beautiful 17 year old to undergo surgery.
