I want to buy the colouring book I saw in sainsburys earlier.
For me. Not dcs.
It says its a stress therapy book for adults.
Am I too old for colouring, as a grown up?

I hope not. I just bought one today. And some coloured pencils. I've hidden it from the DC so they can't scribble all over it.

I bought one for my mum a few weeks ago, she loves it. Finds it very relaxing Smile

I saw these in sainsburys half price earlier. Totally don't see the point but I don't have an arty brain cell in my body. I wish I could like them!

DramaAlpaca · 04/06/2015 00:31

YANBU. Buy it! Apparently it's the latest thing & very relaxing. If you search for adult colouring books on Amazon there are loads. Of course, you have to get yourself some really posh pens as well to go with it.

I have a huge big of crayons and four coloring books: Unicorns are Jerks, Fat Ladies in Space, Dinosaurs with Jobs, and Mer World Problems. They're all adult coloring books, and coloring is really relaxing.

Steff the dinosaurs with jobs sounds funny! I want that one now.
But ds would probably try to take it...

I got one and some colouring pencils but didn't think to hide from DD (who loves drawing, silly mummy!), I have used it to do colouring with her

steff13 · 04/06/2015 00:48

It's cute. I got it from Amazon. They have "adult" coloring books, too.

avocadotoast · 04/06/2015 01:03

DH got me one when I started maternity leave. It took me an hour to colour in a fish. It intimidates me a little because it has a lot of detail but it does pass the time!
